GSL Education is working with a thriving, well-respected secondary school in Portsmouth seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to join their team. What You’ll Be Doing
* Planning, preparing and delivering engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4.
* Developing students’ practical skills (drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, digital art etc.) alongside art theory and art history.
* Assessing, tracking and reporting on student progress; setting targets and helping students exceed them.
* Contributing to the school’s wider cultural, creative and enrichment programmes, helping to run clubs, exhibitions or collaborating on cross-curricular projects.
* Working as part of a supportive Art department, sharing best practice, and contributing to curriculum development.

What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent).
* Strong subject knowledge across Art & Design, with experience of teaching at least up to GCSE level.
* Excellent planning, classroom management and differentiation skills.
* A creativity-driven approach, with ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
* Commitment to promoting a nurturing, inclusive environment.
