Description
We're currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join our team as a key technical authority and thought leader for our ML Engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in defining & implementing MLOps best practices across the organization, driving improvements in technical delivery quality, guiding solution development, and providing expertise in various applications and technologies. Collaboration with data scientists, data engineers, solution engineers, and other stakeholders will be essential to ensure the smooth integration of machine learning models into production systems. What you'll be doing:
* Provide technical leadership and expertise in data engineering solutions.
* Design scalable and robust solutions for Model Deployment, Data Management, Feature Engineering, Model Monitoring, and Automation.
* Manage senior stakeholder relationships, capacity planning, and develop delivery plans.
* Define and implement best practices in Machine Learning and MLOps, mentoring colleagues.
* Transform offline models built by data scientists into production systems.
* Develop and enhance reusable tools and modeling pipelines, supporting knowledge sharing across teams.
* Contribute to internal and external communities and working groups.
* Deliver high-quality code and provide expertise in key technological areas.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in MLOps, Azure, and Databricks, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance ML capabilities.

What you'll bring:
* Strong understanding of ML engineering processing technologies.
* Proven experience in technical leadership within a product team or domain.
* Expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure ML, MLFlow, DevOps, GIT, Python, PySpark, and microservices.
* Excellent knowledge of development lifecycles.
* Ability to lead, collaborate, and work independently.
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
* Familiarity with Agile practices and ceremonies.
* Decisiveness and prioritization skills.
