Own and lead the finance operations for Logisnext Leasing UK Ltd (LLUK) Location: Thame, Oxfordshire, Monday-Friday 09:00 – 17:00 Salary: £60,000 per annum Logisnext UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Interim/Contract based Financial Accountant to take end‑to‑end ownership of our leasing entity, LLUK, and partner closely with the Finance Director on group reporting and compliance. This is a high‑impact assignment suited to career interims/consultants who thrive on clear deliverables, stakeholder influence, and a defined time frame. What is it about? Clear ownership, fast traction: You’ll run LLUK’s day‑to‑day finance, set cadence, and deliver the monthly close without hand‑holding. Direct line to decisions: You’ll report to the Finance Director, influencing both LLUK and the main sales entity. Defined scope & outcomes: Tangible monthly deliverables, audit milestones, and VAT cycles make progress measurable. Stakeholder impact: Tight collaboration with sales teams and external stakeholders; you’ll be the go‑to for structured, timely financial insight. Outcomes you’ll deliver Establish a robust month‑end timetable and deliver on‑time P&L and Balance Sheet reporting for LLUK, aligned to local and group deadlines Baseline cash‑flow, budget/forecast rhythms, and reporting packs for LLUK. Map existing controls and implement quick wins across AP/AR, contract administration, and core reconciliations. Support two part‑time leasing administrators ; embed a clear operating model. Own quarterly VAT returns and associated reporting for the VAT group (LUK & LLUK). Prepare for quarterly/interim/year‑end audits ; coordinate audit requests and support statutory accounts preparation for LLUK. Liaise with Group Accounting, resolving one‑off accounting events with clean documentation. Proactively manage relationships with external funding companies, ensuring timely, accurate submissions. Support the Finance Director on tax compliance activities (Corporation Tax, Employment Taxes—PSA, and Indirect Taxes) across LLUK and LUK. Partner with Sales and the Contract Manager on new customer contracts, safeguarding commercial and accounting integrity. Confidence / self‑assurance Communicates clearly and decisively with the Finance Director, Group Accounting and external funders. Backs recommendations with evidence and professional judgement, and is open to challenge. Demonstrates balanced self‑confidence per our competency framework—assured, self‑aware, and reflective. What you’ll bring ACCA/ACA finalist (not by exemptions) or newly qualified, with 5 years in an accounting function. Proven delivery in fixed asset accounting, monthly close, audit, and VAT. Confident with Microsoft Excel (intermediate) and able to produce clear, decision‑ready outputs. ERP rollout experience would be considered an advantage Organised, hands‑on, deadline‑driven ; excellent stakeholder communication and a pragmatic, solutions‑focused mindset.
