For this position, ZOLL Medical UK is looking for a qualified candidate to provide clinical and technical support for the LifeVest Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator (WCD) UK team. The LifeVest is prescribed to patients with a known risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and protects them until a long‑term treatment option is identified. The device continuously monitors the patient’s heart and, if a life‑threatening rhythm is detected, delivers a treatment shock to restore normal rhythm. The role involves fitting and maintaining the LifeVest for patients across the UK.
Job Description And Areas Of Responsibility
* Coordinating and conducting patient LifeVest fitting within requesting Hospitals across the UK (travel may be required to the Republic of Ireland).
* Leading on technical elements and questions for patients and physicians regarding LifeVest (24/7) and providing individual solutions by phone.
* Analyzing ECG and further technical data and taking appropriate action, including documentation according to ZOLL guidelines.
* Managing network tasks: inputting patient data and information into the online portal, registering new accounts and managing logins, creating clinical centre codes for individual prescribers, sending ECG reports to physicians upon request, de‑activating patients after LifeVest treatment.
* Engaging in customer‑facing training and first‑line education alongside TDM.
* Attending UK congresses and UK cardiology meetings where relevant.
* Supporting the Therapy Development team in growing awareness of LifeVest through effective presentation and customer engagement on a national level.
* Supporting projects and processes alongside the Customer Service team to facilitate continued effective logistical and clinical service provision when required.
* Responsibility for UK inventory and stock management.
We Require The Following Educations And/or Experience From You
* Fluency in written and spoken English language is required.
* At least 3+ years of past professional experience.
* Prepared to travel.
* Past experience in a clinical/hospital environment preferred.
* Past experience working as a Technical Assistant would be beneficial.
* Experience in the medical sector / medical device would be a benefit.
* Good working knowledge of MS Office.
* Motivated, independent, respectful, friendly, team‑oriented individual with well‑developed interpersonal skills both internally with co‑workers and externally with patients and customers.
* Previous experience in the medical/hospital sector is preferred.
* Goal‑oriented thinking with a strong hands‑on mentality and persistent approach.
