Responsibilities
* Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
* Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders and providing recommendations when necessary.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Assist in managing inventory by restocking supplies as needed and reporting shortages to management.
* Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
* Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities.
* Perform basic math calculations for order processing and cash handling.
Skills
* Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
* Basic culinary skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* Proficient in basic maths for order processing and inventory management.
