The Care Navigator is one of the administrative team and contributes to the daily office routine. You will cover the reception area, switchboard and back office on a rotational basis and any administrative duties as directed.
Purpose of Role:
1. To cover reception and answer telephone on a rotational basis during surgery hours
2. Signpost patients to the most appropriate care provider both within and out with the surgery
3. Support and assist clinical staff in any administrative task as required
4. To be involved in the training of students and registrars
5. To undertake summarising of clinical notes and typing of clinical letters and referrals as directed
6. To undertake any other duties as requested
Hours:
Monday to Friday 1000 - 1800 with extra hours when required to cover leave. Practice opening hours are 0800 to 1800.
