We're looking for a friendly and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our brilliant team at Scarsdale Vets, working across our Pride Veterinary Centre in Derby and our Park Farm Practice in Allestree. This is a unique role that offers the best of both worlds – developing your consulting skills within a dedicated nurse team while maintaining hands‑on clinical work in practice.
Role Details: You'll be part of our team of dedicated practice nurses who work hard to build lasting relationships with clients and continually improve the clinics we offer. Consulting at Pride Veterinary Centre provides a great opportunity to develop your confidence and explore specialist clinics such as osteoarthritis and renal disease management. At Park Farm, you'll enjoy a varied mix of nurse clinics, surgical support, and general nursing duties as part of a small, close‑knit team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client contact, has a passion for preventative healthcare, and takes pride in delivering excellent standards of patient care.
Work Schedule
 * Full-time: 38 hours per week over 4 days
 * Hours between 8am and 7pm
 * 1 in 4 Saturdays

Qualifications
 * Confident with anaesthesia and nurse clinics
 * Excellent organisational skills and communication
 * Strong interest in client interaction and preventative healthcare
Desirable Skills
 * Experience running or developing specialist clinics
 * Knowledge of nutrition and weight management
 * Stock control or ordering experience
 * Full UK driving licence
