Location: Grays, Thurrock
Salary: Up to £70,000 (Negotiable, dependent on experience)

Our client is opening a brand-new, high-quality children’s home in Grays, Thurrock, and are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager – Children’s Home to lead the service from the very start. This is an exciting opportunity to make your mark and build a home that provides outstanding care, support, and stability for children and young people.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a Registered Manager – Children’s Home or Deputy Manager in a residential children's setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team.
In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes (England) Regulations .
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead, manage and develop the children’s home in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Ensure high standards of care and safeguarding are consistently delivered.
Build and maintain a positive and nurturing environment for children and young people.
Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
Manage budgets, rotas, and resources efficiently.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted, local authority, and legislative expectations.
Work in partnership with families, social workers, education providers, and other professionals.
Take the lead in preparing for and responding to Ofsted inspections.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and care plans in line with company and statutory requirements.
