Overview
Temporary Support Worker role at Community Integrated Care. This position is based in Portsoy, Scotland, with shift patterns across 7:30am–10:00pm, including sleepovers and waking nights. The post is 20 hours per week on a 12-month initial contract, which may become permanent. A UK driving license is required as there is a mobility car at the service.
Responsibilities
* Support individuals with their own homes; at this service, two people with learning disabilities live in their own homes and are active in the local community.
* Spend the whole shift with the person you support to make a meaningful impact on their lives.
* Work with a person-centered approach, promoting choice, dignity and respect.
* Participate in activities and support planning as part of a collaborative care team.
Qualifications & Qualities

* Willingness to learn and develop in a social care role; prior care experience is welcome but not required.
* UK driving license (required for mobility car at the service).
