Technical Supervisor Facilities Management Electrical Background Day Shift Pattern: Mon to Fri 7am to 4pm followed by Mon to Fri 1pm to 10pm Central London Salary Guide: £58,000 Overtime We are recruiting now for a Technical Services Supervisor with an Electrical background to work on a prestigious corporate account in the heart of the West End.The role of Technical Services Supervisor is to oversee a team of engineers carrying out PPM and reactive works alongside specialist contractors, ensuring high standards of Health & Safety for all. The successful application will ideally have an electrical bias as well as knowledge of HVAC works. Duties of the role include: Ensure client equipment and systems are operating correctly to enable client operational needs and to escalate issues where appropriate where outputs are at risk. Assist with work order prioritisation, including communication with DigiHub/Helpdesk and end users over repair requirements. Diagnose faults and repair assets within technical capability. Quality assure technical activities against Global Engineering Standards and industry best practice, including employees and sub-contractors working on clients behalf. Carry out like for like asset replacement and minor new works as directed. Build professional relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors and site based and remote teams. Support the training and development of staff within the team. Awareness of cost/benefit applicable to the tasks performed. Awareness of sustainability and the impact from technical services delivery. Ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times and its contractors, by correct use of Safe Systems of Work, including RAMS, LOTO, etc. Requirements of the person: Technical competence with NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications, preferably within an electrical discipline Practical technical skills and current working knowledge of engineering standards and best practice. Practical experience of working independently in a technical maintenance environment Practical experience of working to health and safety standards IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Office applications and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems Ability to self-manage and self-plan workload to meet set deadlines.
