About the Role
Within our UK support functions, you will help customer-facing colleagues deliver excellent customer service and patient care. This role is part of the Data Operations team within UKI Data & Analytics, focusing on developing analytic and data reporting solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain strong knowledge of business operations and data technical expertise.
2. Collaborate with analysts, business managers, and colleagues to understand desired outcomes and insights needed for decision-making.
3. Communicate clearly to establish business needs and evolve requirements and solutions.
4. Support month-end processes, automate where possible, and migrate from SAS EG to Viya and Snowflake.
5. Develop, test, and implement new production codes and processes.
6. Handle technology-driven tasks and those focused on business and regulatory needs, including data exploration and agile development.
7. Establish quality checks for new code solutions to ensure robustness and effectiveness.
8. Recommend improvements and optimize existing data solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Experience with industry-standard tools and processing large, complex data sets.
* Experience with healthcare and finance datasets is advantageous; strong database programming skills preferred.
* Proficiency with RDMS such as Oracle or SQL Server and cloud platforms like Snowflake.
* Experience with SQL dialects (T-SQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL) and SAS language.
* Ability to identify technological efficiencies and implement solutions.
* Understanding of data governance and handling confidential data responsibly.
