Overview
An opportunity to gain broad clinical and laboratory Haematology experience as a Locally Employed ST3 Doctor in a busy but friendly Haematology department. You will gain lots of Haematology experience in a friendly department, working alongside 6 Haematology consultants, one SAS doctor, 4 Haematology clinical nurse specialists and 2 Haematology cancer support workers. There is also a team of 3 resident doctors (FY2) covering Haematology inpatients. This post is not recognised for training however provides excellent clinical and laboratory Haematology experience and there are plentiful educational and training opportunities. It would be suitable for doctors wanting a broad experience in Haematology prior to speciality training.
Clinical work includes outpatients and inpatient care including intensive chemotherapy. There will also be opportunity to gain experience in laboratory haematology and bone marrow biopsies.

Requirements
You will need to be eligible to work in the UK for Sept 2023, hold full GMC registration and a license to practise. MRCP preferred and prior Haematology experience or interest preferable.
