About the Role
We are seeking a Farming Investable Propositions Project Officer to join Nature North, a collaborative partnership focused on driving nature recovery across Northern England. This key role supports the Nature North Partnership in leading the Farming Investable Propositions (IP) for large-scale nature recovery. You will work closely with the Nature North Development Manager and the Farming Investable Propositions lead at Natural England.

* Contribute to strategic planning and project delivery for nature recovery initiatives.
Background
Nature North is a cross-sector collaboration that aims to promote green growth and climate resilience through nature recovery. Hosted by Cumbria Wildlife Trust, its members include regional wildlife trusts, RSPB, National Trust, Woodland Trust, Rivers Trust, Natural England, the Environment Agency, and others. The partnership has received significant funding to develop investable propositions and an investment strategy for the North of England.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of the farming sector, with understanding of relevant areas such as agriculture, wildlife, natural capital, and climate initiatives like net zero, levelling up, and place-making.
