Job Description
SDUK's brands include the nation's favourite cheese brand Cathedral City, along with other well-known butter & spreads (Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), functional ingredients, and dairy-free products.
Due to a secondment to focus on the expansion of operations at our Nuneaton site, a role has become available on a fixed-term basis to manage the materials flow into the site for core business and product pipeline. You will ensure robust stock holding policies, minimize stock write-offs, and utilize your MRP experience to support stock management for 10 production lines, delivering 10k tonnes of cheese across approximately 100 SKUs.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, with exposure to NPD projects and artwork changes, as a strong communicator.
Working Pattern
* Monday to Friday (on-site)
* 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC)
Your Contributions
* Manage stock levels and minimize material write-offs, report on delisting and obsolete stock
* Achieve 100% service level for the site and cost-effective stock levels
* Support project delivery from Gate 0 to Gate 3, including material and product changes
* Build and maintain supplier relationships, chase overdue POs, and handle invoice queries
* Monitor supplier performance against KPIs
You Are Suited for This Role If You Are Experienced In:
* Materials or supply chain management, preferably with packaging materials experience
* Presenting findings logically and clearly
* Stakeholder communication and influence on supply matters
* Challenging and supporting supply chain challenges
* Using MRP systems (Excel, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, etc.)
