Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems in various settings, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Duties
* Install and maintain heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.
* Conduct regular inspections and servicing of heating equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in heating systems, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively to perform tasks.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines while working on-site.
* Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Proven experience in plumbing or heating engineering roles.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
* Carpentry skills are advantageous for custom installations or modifications.
* A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation of equipment to job sites.

* Boiler Breakdown : 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* CCN1 Domestic Gas Safety (required)
* COCN1 Commerical Gas Safety (preferred)
