About you
You will have completed their PhD and should have experience of undergraduate teaching and, ideally, of postgraduate teaching as well. You should have a strong track record of high-quality publications relative to their career stage and a coherent five-year plan of research activity that will produce further high-quality outputs suitable for return to current and future REF exercises.
You will also be expected to show a willingness to develop research projects with the potential to attract funding from major funders. A strategy for engaging with external stakeholders in ways that will lead to research impact is also desirable.
We strongly encourage applications from candidates who can demonstrate a commitment in research and/or teaching to using and developing fresh conceptual or methodological approaches (including Digital Humanities) and whose work engages with diverse perspectives and global contexts.
We warmly welcome all applicants regardless of their age, religion, gender identity or expression, race, disability or sexual orientation, and are committed to promoting diversity and equality of opportunity.
