My client is currently seeking a skilled or semi-skilled CNC Miller to join a busy precision engineering workshop. This is a full-time position working on small to medium volume projects for a diverse range of customers across multiple industries. Role Overview Your primary responsibilities will include tool setting and loading raw materials for existing production work, as well as the opportunity to develop new programs from customer files and technical drawings. You will be responsible for measuring and checking components against the provided drawings to ensure the fine tolerances required for production are achieved. Key Responsibilities * Interpret and work from engineering drawings with a high level of accuracy. * Read, understand, and, where necessary, modify machine code. * Carry out visual inspections of components to ensure they meet required tolerances. * Work to production deadlines efficiently and accurately. * Solve problems as they arise during the manufacturing process. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area. The working hours are Monday–Thursday 7:00am–5:00pm, Friday 7:00am–1:00pm.
