Working hours: 25 hours per week Interview Date: Week commencing Monday 20th April 2026 Job Summary: The Bradford Day Shelter is a contracted Day Service with the local authority which supports those who are homeless or who are at risk of becoming homeless. The service operates Monday to Friday. This is a unique opportunity to join a friendly team who are committed to providing a high quality support service to vulnerable adults who find themselves homeless. Key Responsibilities: Your main role is to assist clients by working as part of the support team. This will include making clients welcome and ensuring that they have access to all the services available that they may need. The role will include preparing and service a simple lunch daily on a limited budget as well as planning and leading activities to support clients mental and physical well being The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate: Previous experience of working with those experiencing or facing homelessness. Food Safety Certificates, levels 1 and 2 or a willingness to work towards these. Basic First Aid qualification. A confident and flexible approach.
