Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is looking to recruit a friendly, motivated individual to join our Visitor Operations team as a Park Ranger. You’ll thrive in a busy, customer-facing environment and help with the day-to-day running of our award-winning zoo. We’re looking for someone with a flair for outstanding customer service — enthusiastic, hands-on, and ready for a role where no two days are ever the same. Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Helping visitors enjoy their day by being friendly, approachable, and responsive to questions and queries. Keeping play areas clean, safe, and well-maintained. Carrying out general janitorial duties. Driving our tractor and trailer, providing commentary for visitors on board. Ensuring the zoo grounds are clean, tidy, and welcoming. Working regularly in our Ticket Office and Welcome Team. About You: Friendly, outgoing, and charismatic, with a passion for working outdoors and engaging with the public. Hold a full, current manual driving licence and be a confident driver. Have experience delivering excellent customer service in retail, leisure, or hospitality. Maintain high cleaning and presentation standards. Be a reliable team player with a flexible, can-do attitude. Work Pattern: Permanent, full-time role (5 days per week, including one weekend in three). Must be willing to fit into the existing staff rota. Immediate start – October 2025. Salary: £12.21 per hour Please note: this position does not involve working directly with our animals.
