What will you be doing?
We seek an Area Controller for our External Field team. You will lead a team collecting data in retail stores across the Midlands UK. Planning, communication, quality, and timeliness are key for client satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
* Own operational excellence in your area, ensure tasks are completed on time, correctly, and within budget. Support other Area Controllers as needed.
* Manage field work operations, including product knowledge, processes, scheduling, documentation, prioritization, and technology use.
* Handle people management tasks: supervision, appraisals, expenses, holidays, KPI tracking. Recruit, motivate, train, and retain fieldworkers to ensure quality and consistency.
* Prioritize and delegate tasks to meet deadlines.
* Identify initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
Requirements
* Self-motivated, responsible, decisive.
* Strong communication, leadership, and remote management skills.
* Organized, problem-solver, solutions-focused.
* Team player, able to build cross-team relationships.
* Excellent English, IT skills, especially in Excel.
