Offer description

Responsibilities

1. Ensure the team's adherence to payment processing deadlines and quality control.
2. Oversee regulatory tax reporting across various regulatory returns.
3. Perform oversight and compliance activities related to the work of the team covered by the Client Money Regulations (CASS Rules).
4. Assist and complete work related to Internal Audits and compliance monitoring queries, collaborating with external Audit partners to ensure successful delivery of Aegon's statutory and CASS audits.
5. Oversee the preparation of platform tax reporting data and ensure its successful submission to HMRC.
6. Ensure all controls operate effectively, evidence is retained to mitigate exposures, and processes adhere to SOX principles. Identify areas of weakness and act accordingly.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

1. Strong people management skills, with experience managing teams.
2. Adaptability and responsibility towards changing priorities.
3. Knowledge of Client Money Assets Sourcebook (CASS) rules and regulations.
4. Understanding of the banking industry and payment practices.
5. Basic PAYE and tax reporting knowledge is desirable but not essential.
6. Strong oral and written communication skills, clear and audience-appropriate.
