Historic Hotels & Properties Ltd are a small hospitality group with big ambitions. We currently operate The Central Hotel, Queen Victoria pub, Victoria Hotel and Mariner's House which are all located in Scarborough.

We are looking for an experienced hotel receptionist to join our team and help create that lasting impression for our guests. To be successful you will have a passion for guest service and a personality that lights up a room
You will enjoy meeting people and be able to talk to anyone and everyone as your main duties will be checking guests in/out of the hotel, answering the telephone, being the first point of contact for our guests questions, queries and yes, sometimes complaints and you should also be comfortable using computers and systems. You will also be taking payments and generally being great at organising everyone and there will also be some bar work involved. You will be happy working on your own and with other people depending on how busy the hotel is.
Qualifications
- Hotel experience
- Guest services background
- Strong hospitality skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Proficiency in phone etiquette
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
