We're recruiting for a Class 1 part time Shunter Driver to join our team. This role is based on our client's site, where you'll be responsible for moving stock to the relevant departments across the operation in line with business requirements.
The working pattern is working every Thursday and Friday with a shift pattern of 15:00 to midnight including paid breaks.
The salary for this part time role is £15,472.18 plus an allowance of £1,480 per annum.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced CPC qualified LGV driver to make an impact with our leading organisation. Whilst experience of driving a Shunt vehicle is preferred, we will provide full training to ensure your success in the role.

The Role
This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is looking for a part time driving role. As a Class 1 Shunter Driver, you will support operations at our client's Derby site by managing the movement of trailers.
Specifically, you will drive a TUG tractor unit and manoeuvre trailers throughout the site to ensure logistics operations are smooth and efficient.
Additionally, you will:
Use a handheld device to get instructions for your workload
Effectively communicate with the transport office
Provide excellent customer service to our client
About You
To be considered as a Class 1 Shunter Driver you will need:
An LGV Class 1 licence with a minimum of 12 months' commercial driving experience
No more than 6 points on your licence
A CPC Driver qualification
Good working knowledge of working time regulations
Flexibility around working hours to fit around the needs of the business
