Role Responsibilities
Lead initiatives to promote independence for adults with learning disabilities and autism, supporting their transition to more independent living
Design and implement specialist psychological treatment plans to enhance quality of life for service users
Conduct research and project work to promote evidence-based practice across services
Deliver staff training and reflective practice sessions to embed high-quality psychological care
Requirements
HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
Experience conducting psychological assessments with individuals with cognitive or learning disabilities
Strong understanding of evidence-based psychological practice and excellent communication skills
