This candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the Quality function to support customers, suppliers, current production and new product introduction for complex precision parts within the automotive, defence and some aerospace projects.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain Customer, Supplier, and Internal relationships
* NPI activities to support the business growth strategy
* IMDS report creation and submission
* Regular Control Plan audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures, ISO9001, IATF16494 and VDA6.3
* Support project development with defining quality control methods and gauging systems to meet Customer expectations
* Development and maintenance of Control Plans
* Facilitate the investigation of any internal, customer and supplier concerns applying 8D approach with a cross-functional team
* Statistical analysis of process and MSA studies
Qualifications
* Quality engineering background
* APQP and PPAP processes
* Automotive manufacturing background
* Lean manufacturing techniques
* Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.
* Working knowledge of: 8D, APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC, GD&T and Poka Yoke
