Job Description
We are recruiting for a Level 2 Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Belfast, Northern Ireland. You will manage and support servers, storage, and related technologies that underpin our platforms and services. The ideal candidate is flexible, customer-focused, and possesses strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide proactive support and monitoring of Telefónica Tech MS hosted environments
* Triaging and resolving customer and internal issues
* Support for an RDS environment
* Deployment and monitoring of virtual machines on VMware Hypervisor platforms
Skills & Experience:
* Experience with ITIL processes
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities
* Experience in a dedicated IT department
* Understanding of Virtualisation and backup technologies
* Active Directory & Group Policy Management
* Experience with Service Desk software
* Experience working with Blue Light Services
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Valid driver’s license and transport access
Technical Skills Required:
* ITIL v3 foundation or higher
* VMware Virtual Machine deployment
* Automated Patch Management tools
* Methodical troubleshooting and attention to detail
* Active Directory Management
Desired Technical Skills:
* Windows Group Policy
* Windows Terminal Server Support
* VMware accreditation
* Storage and SAN Fibre management exposure
Additional Information
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week, with shifts typically from 07:00 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:30, or 09:30 to 18:00.
Role requires BPSS, Security Clearance, and NPPV3 Clearance; offers are conditional on passing these checks.
This is a hybrid role with at least 2 days in the office weekly.
