The Role:
* Advise on complex renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, hydro, and emerging technologies
* Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts and project documentation
* Support clients from planning and development through to financing and construction
* Work collaboratively across departments including real estate, corporate, and regulatory teams
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients in the energy sector, helping shape legal strategies and navigate regulatory frameworks
The Person:
* Qualified solicitor in Scotland or England & Wales (dual-qualified welcome)
* Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualified experience ideally, but flexibility depending on background
* Previous experience advising on energy, infrastructure, or commercial projects preferred
* Commercially minded, solutions-focused, and passionate about sustainability and renewables
* Strong communication and client-facing skills essential
