About The Role
We seek a self-starting, well-organized Mechanical Project Manager with strong management skills, capable of anticipating issues and developing contingency plans. Leo Lynch is committed to delivering with integrity and excellence, earning the trust of clients and employees alike.
Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of projects including planning, budgeting, and scheduling from conception to completion.
* Coordinate with design and engineering teams to meet client specifications, deadlines, and budgets.
* Utilize Leo Lynch systems to track project progress and ensure team compliance.
* Ensure effective collaboration among disciplines such as BIM, Engineering, QA, and Procurement, resolving issues as they arise.
* Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure safety and quality standards.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors; negotiate contracts as needed.
* Oversee financial aspects, including cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, codes, and safety regulations.
* Implement cost and value control procedures and produce timely commercial reports for senior management.
* Work with Directors and Site Managers to strategize and resolve potential risks or issues.
* Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to clients and senior management.
* Collaborate with senior management to meet business objectives.
* Foster productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
* 5+ years of experience as a Project/Contracts Manager in the Mechanical HVAC industry, with prior project engineering experience.
* Knowledge of Mechanical, HVAC, and Process systems, including design, installation, and operation.
* Excellent project management skills: planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
* Willingness to travel within Europe occasionally.
* Full driving license required.
