Basic salary of up to £32,000, with an OTE of approximately £38,720
33 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays
Monday to Friday working hours, 37.5 hours per week – no weekends

Conduct towbar installations and repairs on customer vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and safety
Carefully inspect vehicles for marks or scratches before fitting to safeguard customer property
Handle customer vehicles with respect and professionalism throughout the fitting process
Service and repair the Company’s fleet of hire trailers, maintaining accurate records for scheduled servicing
Assemble, modify, and adapt trailers as required to meet customer specifications
Maintain and upkeep tools and equipment, reporting any faults promptly
Securely park vehicles and trailers awaiting service in designated areas
Report any Vehicle or property damage or issues to the Branch Manager immediately
Occasionally visit customer sites to carry out repairs or fittings as needed
Assist with maintaining operational standards, including forklift operation if qualified, as a Towbar TechnicianRequirements of a Towbar Technician:
Proven experience in repairing products and wiring, ideally within the automotive, trailer, or similar industry
Hands-on approach with the ability to service items like flatbed trailers and horseboxes
Competent in fitting and wiring towbars
Full clean UK driving licence
Ability to diagnose faults and provide technical advice effectively
Willing to undergo product-specific training to enhance skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to visit customer locations when required
