We’re looking for a Student Recruitment Manager to lead, manage, and deliver high-quality student recruitment events and outreach activities for our HE providers Leeds Conservatoire and University Centre Leeds, both part of Luminate Education Group.
What You Will Do
* Lead a team delivering on-campus, online, and external student recruitment events and activities.
* Develop and implement strategic recruitment event and activity plans that align with our marketing and recruitment goals.
* Build and maintain relationships with key schools, colleges, and community groups.
* Provide expert advice on event logistics, strategy, and best practices to internal stakeholders.
* Oversee the recruitment and training of student ambassadors.
* Monitor and evaluate the impact of events, ensuring continuous improvement.
* Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective and impactful activities.
* Represent our institutions at external conferences and industry events.
* This role involves some evening and weekend work, plus UK-wide travel.
About You
* Proven experience in event planning and management, ideally within an educational setting.
* Strong people management skills, with experience leading and developing teams.
* Excellent project management abilities, ensuring smooth and efficient event delivery.
* A customer-focused approach, with the ability to engage and inspire prospective students via our marketing material.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience managing budgets and evaluating event success.
* A creative, problem-solving mindset to enhance event innovation.

* A degree (or equivalent qualification) is essential.
