An established charity based near Dartford in Kent is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to support the Director of Finance in managing financial operations, including financial reporting, payroll, and compliance. Responsibilities of the Finance Officer Role:- * Supervise and support an Accounts Assistant in day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations, ensuring the timely collection of income and accurate recording of financial transactions. * Reconciling bank accounts, payroll accounts, and control accounts monthly. * Update and track Housing Benefit income * Assist with the processing and administration of monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax, pension, and employment regulations. * Ensure timely and accurate payroll submissions, including PAYE, National Insurance, pension contributions, and other deductions. - * Manage expense reimbursements and ensure compliance with company policies. Requirements of the Finance Officer Role:- 1. Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
