Looking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? Our client, a well-established plant hire company, is seeking a Workshop Technician to join their busy team in Redhill.
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid mechanical knowledge who enjoys problem-solving, working with equipment, and keeping things running smoothly.
What you'll be doing:
* Inspecting and checking in returned hire equipment (ladders, hoists, platforms)
* Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs
* Assembling and servicing scaffold and hoist equipment
* Installing hoists on-site when needed
* Keeping systems and paperwork up to date
What you'll need:
* A solid hands-on experience of maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems
* A safety-conscious, proactive approach
* Mechanical engineering degree (desirable)
* Experience handling equipment or materials (ideal, but not essential)
* A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
