Role
We are looking for an organised, professional and welcoming individual to be the first point of contact for our academy community. In this varied and rewarding role, you will deliver a high‑quality reception and administrative service, ensuring every visitor, parent and colleague receives a warm and efficient experience.
Alongside your front‑of‑house responsibilities, you will provide a confidential and dedicated Personal Assistant service to the Principal, Academy Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team. From managing diaries and coordinating daily tasks to supporting key operational functions, you will play a vital part in keeping the academy running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Deliver a high‑quality reception and administrative service, ensuring a warm and efficient experience for visitors, parents and colleagues.
Provide a confidential and dedicated Personal Assistant service to senior leaders, managing diaries, coordinating daily tasks, and supporting key operational functions.
Requirements
Contact with children and engagement in regulated activity. Must not be barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. All shortlisted applicants will be required to declare any relevant convictions, adult cautions or other matters which may affect suitability to work with children. As a result of amendments to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (exceptions order 1975) in 2013 and 2020, some minor offences are now protected (filtered) and should not be disclosed to potential employers, and employers cannot take these offences into account.
Eligibility for Safer Recruitment Procedures and an enhanced DBS check. Must meet White Rose Academies Trust safeguarding and welfare commitments.
