Our client are specialists in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit a Die Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis.
The Job youll do
1. The role requires a die maintenance technician who can troubleshoot, and problem solve technical issues.
2. Basic knowledge of press tool setting, and operation is needed for this role. Working in a safe and orderly manner in all areas of operations.
3. Diagnose tooling problems at press call out and potential repair of the tool at press.
4. Carry out maintenance repairs and refurbishment activities on press tools.
5. Carry out Preventative Maintenance activities to a schedule to maintain tool/die performance.
6. Modifications and improvement activities on the press tools supporting customer production part approval process (PPAP) and/or parts submission warrant (PSW).
7. Record/document die performance and quality concerns regarding the repair details to Die Maintenance Manager.
8. Support and maintain continuous improvements of 5s activities onsite to a high standard.
