South Lanarkshire Council’s Enterprise and Sustainable Development Service seeks to recruit two highly motivated and experienced individuals with a background in project planning and implementation on a fixed-term basis to assist in delivering capital investment, physical regeneration, and partnership activities.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to physical development and infrastructure projects, mainly within town centres and country parks.
As a Development Officer, you will assist in preparing project briefs, business cases, and project programmes; monitor contract expenditure; manage resources, including external agencies; and coordinate input from internal and external stakeholders.
This role requires someone with an aptitude for partnership working, and comfort working within uncertainty and complexity. You will be supported professionally, offered development opportunities, and work with experienced colleagues. Flexible and agile working arrangements can be discussed.
