Blencowe Scaffolding is seeking an experienced Scaffold Estimator to support our growing workload across commercial and residential projects. This is a key role within the business, working closely with operations and commercial teams to deliver accurate, competitive, and compliant scaffold tenders.
The Role
* Preparing detailed scaffold estimates from drawings, specifications, and site information
* Assessing labour, materials, plant, and programme requirements
* Pricing traditional tube & fitting and system scaffolding solutions
* Liaising with operations, design, and on-site teams to develop practical access solutions
* Preparing and submitting tenders within required timeframes
* Reviewing variations and supporting commercial negotiations where required
* Developing a strong client base for the company
* Ad-hoc project inspections as and when required
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Scaffold Estimator or similar role
* Strong knowledge of tube & fitting and/or system scaffolding
* Understanding of TG20, TG30, SG4, and Work at Height Regulations
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating tools
* Full UK Driving licence
* Minimum 5 years experience
