Why your job is important to us

We are “the secure choice” for all our customers, providing them with round the clock reassurance that their IT is safe, resilient and in good health. As a Finance Assistant you will make sure that you deal with the accurate and timely processing of sales and purchase invoices, answering day to day queries, completing daily bank reconciliations whilst assisting the Head of Finance and other members of the team when required. You will work in a busy office environment, which is constantly changing and evolving to deliver the best possible service to our clients.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

* Raise sales invoices for all completed customer orders, this will include Project/Time/Product/Contract Invoicing
* Assist with Direct Debit administration and collections
* Complete daily bank account reconciliations
* Maintain accurate client information in our company systems
* Prepare regular account statements and ensure regular contact with clients to maintain good credit control
* Respond to customer queries promptly via email and telephone
* Assist with month-end process and the preparation of financial reports
* Assist with Accounts Inbox management

* Understanding of Accounts administration
* The ability to work as part of a team and to make your own decisions
* The ability to be self-motivated and highly organised
* A beady eye when it comes to details
* A basic understanding of Word and Excel
* The ability to remain calm, positive, warm and friendly when dealing with clients and to make them feel that they are the most important person on the planet!
* A positive, ‘can do’ attitude

The icing on the cake:

* Accountancy experience/qualifications
* Payroll administration experience
* Knowledge of AccountsIQ or similar system
* Experience of the IT sector
* Previous use of ConnectWise beneficial
