We are recruiting 4 highly ambitious and qualified Senior Residential Youth Workers to join our client's successful and experienced staff team in a children’s residential care home in Corby.
Candidates should ideally have at least 6 months of experience in a similar setting and hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a qualification of similar or higher standing.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who have been placed into the care system for various reasons, with a range of disorders, behaviors, and needs. We seek individuals with confidence, understanding, patience, and the skills to work successfully with young people and positively impact their lives.
This position involves providing guidance, interaction, and support to children and young adults in residential care, aiming to create a safe environment that addresses their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
As part of a team, you will support children and young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, social activities, family contacts, education, and shopping.
We are looking for positive role models who are flexible, reliable, and interactive, eager to work within a specialist environment.
Please note that successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check as part of the safer recruitment process and attend a paid five-day training programme.

The role involves a 38-hour work week, including sleep-in duties and occasional weekend shifts.
