Based at Glentress Forest Café, EH45 8NB, you will be working 37.5 hours per week, 5 on, 2 off, you'll play a key role in preparing and serving high-quality food that meets our standards and delights our customers. Your responsibilities will include: Food preparation: handling day-to-day duties and ensuring dishes meet site standards. Cooking and service: managing your station and delivering food on time. Safety and hygiene: following best practices with equipment, utensils, and food storage. Stock management: keeping ingredients fresh and reordering stock, when supplies run low. Teamwork: collaborating with the culinary team to maintain quality and service throughout the shift. Who are we looking for? Proven chef experience, ideally in contract catering. Level 2 Catering & Hospitality qualification or equivalent. Knowledge of cooking methods and processes, with the ability to multitask under pressure. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
