Michael Page are working with with a very well known business going through a period of growth. They are seeking an Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their vibrant team at an exciting time for the business.
Job Description
Duties include:
3. Responsible for inputting, coding and processing of invoices daily
4. Preparation of month end payment runs according to company policy
5. Ensuring key accounts are managed appropriately to minimise late payments
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
7. Supplier statement reconciliation and control, maintenance of aged accounts
8. Processing staff expenses in line with company policy and submit to payroll
9. Assisting with intercompany account reconciliation
10. Ad-hoc duties as required
The Successful Applicant
The candidate will have:
11. Previous Purchase Ledger experience - Required
12. Strong understanding of the reconciliations process - Required
13. Excellent communication skills written and verbal - Required
14. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
15. High attention to detail and levels of accuracy - Required
16. Prior experience within the Retail sector - Desirable
