By joining us as a Trainee Flexographic Printer, you’ll start by applying your finishing experience while learning advanced printing skills. You’ll play a key role in quality control and production efficiency, ensuring compliance with healthcare packaging standards. More about your responsibilities:
* Support finishing and inspection tasks, including shrink wrap operations and packing.
* Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with our Quality Management System.
* Perform changeovers and setups to meet production targets.
* Learn to operate and maintain flexographic printing and finishing equipment.
* Assist with ink mixing, machine setup, and production runs.
* Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace.
If you’ve got:

* Print finishing experience or similar production background.
* A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
* Enthusiasm to learn and progress into a full printer role.
* NVQ Level 2 in printing (or willingness to work towards it).
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Initially, the position will Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After training is completed, the role will transition to a rotating shift schedule of three days per week, with each shift lasting 12 hours.
o Week 1: Mon–Wed (06:00–18:30)
o Week 2: Wed–Fri (10:00–22:30)
