Ysgol Treffynnon is situated on a modern learning campus, which it shares with a primary school, Ysgol Maes Y Felin. The design of the learning campus is beautiful, unique, and innovative, possessing state-of-the-art multifunctional classrooms throughout.
We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified teacher to teach Physical Education (PE) from Years 7 to 11. If you are innovative and passionate about Physical Education and appreciate the enormous value of having an informed understanding of the health benefits of good fitness, diet and mental health and wellbeing, we would love to receive an application from you. You must be a person who is passionate about developing your own pedagogical skills to enhance the learning of our students. We are looking for an outstanding teacher with excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute fully to our very committed and successful faculty team. The successful candidate will have a passion for understanding how students learn, the desire to raise standards, and a genuine commitment to the principles underpinning the new curriculum for Wales. The position of Temporary Head of Faculty for Wellbeing is available to a suitably qualified applicant.
