The Stourport High School & VIth Form College are looking for a dynamic, innovative, and inspiring Teacher of History to join our dedicated Humanities team.
Learning about history provides an opening to other cultures and eras, underpinned by a high-quality humanities education that fosters pupils' curiosity and deepens their understanding of the world.
We are seeking a passionate educator who can deliver an authentic curriculum that engages our students, shares our core values, and inspires all young people to share their enthusiasm for history.
The post will involve working with the Curriculum Area Lead for Humanities on the strategic oversight, preparation, and delivery of History across Key Stage 3–5, ensuring that students make progress through quality first teaching.
The post holder will have the ability to demonstrate their commitment to their subject and how they can support the trust in fostering collaboration, ensuring that the continual improvement of the quality of students' learning is at the top of the agenda.
We are looking for a teacher who has:

2. Experience of excellent and inspirational teaching from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 5

They will play a key role in ensuring that the continual improvement of the quality of student's learning is at the top of the business agenda and will be responsible for developing the department to ensure its long-term success and sustainability.
