Assistant Store Manager - Truro Store - Base salary of £24,000, with the potential to earn up to £34,000 with On Target Earnings

The Role - Assistant Manager
We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team. You would play a significant role in helping us achieve our vision, being a key player in moving our business forward, with your natural ability to set an example for the team to engage, inspire and advise our customers to ensure they choose the bed that suits them best!
Your role as Assistant Manager will involve:
1. Deputising for the Store Manager in their absence, ensuring operational and brand standards are upheld in store.
2. Completing management tasks as required on shift, ensuring you have enough staff and resources as needed.
3. Using our SleepPRO technology to ensure our customers choose the right mattress, giving them a perfect night’s sleep, and building rapport to advise on sleep wellness.
4. Taking customers through the sales process and completing order paperwork and credit agreements (full training provided).
Working closely with your store colleagues to ensure we offer every customer an outstanding in-store experience. We provide extensive product training, ongoing coaching, and support to help you succeed, progress, and build your career into Store Management and beyond!
In return, we offer a competitive base salary plus uncapped individual commission once your minimum sales target is achieved.
On target earnings c£34, based on your sales target, with no upper earning limit beyond that!
Our busiest times include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. You will be expected to cover some of these shifts, but we value work-life balance and do not expect you to work all of them.
Due to the nature of our products, the role involves moving products around in-store and some cleaning tasks to maintain store and product condition for our customers.
Skills Needed
We are looking for a current Assistant Manager or a senior sales consultant with team leadership experience who can coach and motivate with pride, passion, and a positive attitude.
* Devoted to delivering excellent customer service with professionalism, engaging with customers to build rapport and understand their needs.
* Driven to meet personal and team targets, with experience in coaching and developing team members, and confident in tracking targets and spotting sales opportunities.
* Resilient, resourceful, and daring to try new approaches to help the store succeed.
