Join our Business Change team
The Business Change Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that Softcat’s technology, process, and organisational initiatives deliver real, measurable benefits. Working as part of the Change & Adoption team, and reporting to the Senior Business Change Manager, this role leads business readiness activity, champions user adoption, and ensures that change lands effectively across the organisation. The role acts as a connector between delivery teams, operational teams, and leadership to ensure changes are embedded sustainably.
As Business Change Manager, you will partner with project teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to design and deliver effective change strategies across Softcat's programmes and transformation initiatives, functioning as a trusted advisor in all aspects of people‑centred change, from impact assessment through to implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
As Business Change Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
* Change Strategy & Planning – develop and own holistic change strategies and plans that ensure initiatives are understood, adopted, and embedded successfully.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – build strong, credible relationships across all levels of the business to ensure change lands effectively.
* Adoption, Training & Business Readiness – drive readiness and ensure teams feel confident, capable, and supported throughout change.
* Benefits Realisation & Continuous Improvement – ensure change is sustained and continues to drive value beyond go‑live.
We’d love you to have:
* Proven experience in a Business Change, Change Management, or similar people‑focused transformation role.
* Strong understanding of change frameworks and methodologies (e.g. Prosci ADKAR, APMG, Kotter), with the ability to apply them pragmatically.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders.
* Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, simple messages tailored to different audiences.
* Experience delivering change within technology‑enabled transformation programmes.
