Essential Experience
Applicants must have at least two years' post‑qualification experience in a patient‑facing role within a relevant clinical environment such as:
1. Accident & Emergency (A&E)
2. General Practice
3. Emergency Medicine
4. Acute Medicine
5. Prison Healthcare
6. Ambulance Service
Your background should demonstrate your ability to deliver high‑quality care, remain calm under pressure, and manage a wide range of clinical situations effectively.
A full driving licence is essential.
About the Role
Working in partnership with the Police, you will be based in custody suites providing healthcare to detainees. Our service operates 24/7 to ensure detainee safety and wellbeing, following a rota agreed with our client.
You will work both in your base custody suite and flexibly across your assigned regional Police Force area as required.
Salary & Benefits
7. £20, per year
8. £ bonus on completion of 12 months' service
9. Average overtime earning potential: £3, per year
10. NMC/HCPC registration fees paid
11. Part time - this entails fixed shift working: 06:45 to 19:00 for day shifts and night shifts of 18:45 to 07:00, working in a team rota pattern of 2-dayshifts on, 8 days, 2 nights, 4 days off. Rolling rota available 2 years in advance.
Requirements:
12. RN, RGN or (RMN with dual registration):2 years post qualification - Band 5 minimum
13. Paramedic 2 years post qualification.
14. Must have RTW in UK, Lived in UK British Passport or ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months
15. All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting
