My client is a regional, legal 500 law firm looking for a qualified Employment Lawyer to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong grounding in key areas of employment law, including:
* Restrictive covenants
* Unfair dismissal
* Discrimination
* Redundancy
* Whistleblowing
* TUPE
Key Responsibilities
* Handle client matters efficiently, ensuring progress is maintained and clients are regularly updated on case developments and associated costs.
* Advise on and draft settlement agreements with a confident and practical approach.
* Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and security concerning all firm and client documentation and information.
* Meet agreed financial targets, including fee income and chargeable hours.
* Liaise effectively with the credit control team to support financial objectives.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues across the firm.
* Foster and maintain strong relationships with external organisations and institutions.
* Take responsibility for your own professional growth and development.
* Ensure compliance with the training and professional development requirements of the SRA and Law Society.
