Job overview

We are seeking a radiographer or technologist with significant experience in NM and PET/CT, who will contribute positively and enthusiastically to the professional running and future development of the department. The post is suitable for a radiographer or technologist who is keen to experience a wide range of specialties and keen to support and develop the day service whilst working with state of the art equipment and optimising image techniques across clinical and research fields.
The role will involve work with PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine across the OUH Trust, and will include weekend working on a rotational basis

Applicants must have a significant experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT. Opportunities are available for personal and professional development and as the service develops there will a requirement to support weekend services.

The Churchill Radiology Department is within the Cancer and Haematology Centre, opened in. Primarily, we provide imaging services across the specialities found on site: Oncology, Radiotherapy, Breast, Renal, Urology, Transplantation, Chest Medicine, upper and lower GI, Head and Neck, Haematology and Infectious Diseases.

The PET/CT department provide imaging services to a large catchment area across the south of England, the NM department as well as providing a wide variety of diagnostic service also provide a therapy service in collaboration with the oncology and medical physics teams.
