This role is to provide a proactive demand management and co-ordination function within Business Services across North Tyneside. Reporting directly to the relevant Business Manager, the ability to prioritise workloads and service delivery, whilst contributing to achieving the force vision and values will be key skills you can bring to this role. What you’ll do Build strong working relationships with colleagues and partners, making sure services run smoothly and spotting any risks that could affect delivery. Create and improve customer service solutions, keeping an eye on new trends to make processes more efficient and effective. Be a main point of contact for Business Services, offering great support across a variety of teams and functions. Maintain accurate and comprehensive fleet records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Attend meetings to take the notes and actions where required. Help deliver local projects that focus on improving services, reducing risk, and finding better ways of working. Carry out building health and safety checks, keep accurate records, and raise any concerns so we can keep everyone safe and well. Stay flexible and adapt to the needs of the Business Services team, supporting priorities across Area Command and Operations. What you’ll bring Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills. The ability to co-ordinate tasks and resourcing activities within a complex environment of competing pressures and demands. Ability to take initiative and be proactive, gathering and analysing information from multiple sources to achieve solutions. Be self-motivated, ability to work individually and as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and spoken with the ability to positively influence departmental outcomes.
