Team Manager/Fire Engineer

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced qualified Fire Engineer who is seeking career advancement. The role involves building, developing, and leading a team of fire specialists in the built environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advancing their career within the industry, with potential for growth into a Senior Manager role as Ark expands.
Responsibilities Include
1. Recruit, manage, and develop a team of fire engineers and risk consultants.
2. Undertake fire engineering assignments, including retrospective strategies and safety case reviews.
3. Provide technical advice to teams and clients.
4. Oversight of the team's project work to ensure quality delivery.
5. Evaluate opportunities to enhance service offerings.
6. Support client-facing teams with proposals and presentations.
7. Conduct technical interviews and provide specialist advice.
8. Oversee department budget and help the team achieve delivery targets.
9. Develop methods for delivering consistent quality work.
Experience and Qualifications
Requirements:
* Degree or professional diploma in fire safety engineering or equivalent.
* Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers.
* Significant experience leading fire engineering assignments in the built environment.
* Experience with fire risk assessments on complex buildings.
* Excellent knowledge of current fire safety legislation framework.
* Proven team management and professional services experience.
